High winds and heavy rain for the Baltics and Finland at the weekend

Saturday
Western regions of Portugal will be rather cloudy though should remain dry as a deep area of low pressure circulates just offshore. Dry and fine across much of Spain though showers will develop towards the northwest. Largely dry and fine across the Balearics, though Ibiza could see a passing shower. Sardinia, Corsica and much of Italy will be dry with plenty of sunshine though the odd shower cannot be ruled out across mainland Italy. A few heavy showers for Greece, otherwise dry here and fair across Turkey.
Mostly dry across France though there will be a brisk easterly wind. A few scattered showers across the northern regions of the Low Countries but mostly dry here too. Feeling relatively chilly in a brisk northerly wind flow. Rain first thing across central Germany will ease and largely clear. Dry and fair across Switzerland and Austria. Outbreaks of rain across northern Poland with a brisk wind here, drier further south.
Scattered showers pulling in on a brisk north-westerly wind across Denmark. An improving day for Norway as a ridge builds in here to see sunny spells develop. Largely dry across Sweden though cloudier with the risk of rain across eastern regions. A deep area of low pressure will bring stormy conditions to southern regions of Finland and the Baltic States. Northern Finland will be largely dry and fine.

Sunday
A cloudier day for Portugal with outbreaks of heavy rain affecting western areas of the country. Drier further east. Largely dry across Spain though cloudier further west, while thundery showers develop in the northeast and east. Dry and fine across the Balearics, Corsica and Sardinia. Italy will also be dry and fair with plenty of sunshine. Greece and Turkey will remain dry and fine though Bulgaria and Macedonia will see showers.
France will be largely dry and fine with sunny spells though scattered showers will develop across southern areas. A few isolated showers affecting the Low Countries though mainly dry with plenty of sunshine. The far north of Germany as well as northern Poland will see showery rain, heavy in Poland. Elsewhere here though it should be dry. Largely dry with sunny spells across Austria and Switzerland as well as the Balkan States.
A chilly and brisk northwesterly wind will pull showery rain across Denmark, though showers will ease during the afternoon here. Unsettled across the Baltic States and Finland as low pressure brings strong, cold winds as well as outbreaks of heavy rain. Outbreaks of rain will affect much of Sweden initially before easing and sunny spells develop here. Largely dry and fine across Norway though a few scattered showers affecting western coasts.
