Much of the central and northern continent will be dry with sunny spells, seasonally average temperatures.

Thursday
Rain in Portugal, heavy and thundery at times. Fair in central and eastern Spain, a few showers on eastern and northern coasts. Corsica and Sardinia should be dry with sunny spells. A few odd showers over the Balearics but sunny spells here too. Rain in southern Italy and Greece with heavy rain in western Greece. Brighter northern Italy. The Balkan States will be largely cloudy. Further heavy thunderstorms of longer spells of rain in Turkey.

France will be dry and breezy for most although some showers over the Pyrenees. Dry with sun for the Low Countries and Germany. Poland should be dry too but with more cloud. Austria and Hungary as well as Switzerland are all going to be dry with sunny spells. Generally cloudier to the east with some patchy rain in Romania and Bulgaria, though many here dry as well.

Fair in Denmark with sunny spells, though a chance of afternoon rain. Cloud and some periods of rain in Estonia, drier in the southern Baltic States but the rain will sweep south with time. Finland will have dry conditions and some sunny spells. Fair for Sweden, sunny spells here and mostly dry, just some light rain in the south. Southern Norway is also dry but wind and showers for much central and northern areas, the showers wintry, snowy on the hills.

Friday
Further heavy rain in Portugal, showers drifting further into Spain and to the Balearics. Sunny spells in Sardinia and Corsica and northern Italy. Afternoon showers for southern Italy. A mix of cloud and sun in the Balkan States, a few showers in the mountains. Rain through the Aegean Sea, frequent heavy rain in Türkiye and the eastern Mediterranean. Windy in the eastern Mediterranean too. Lighter rain in western Greece with some sun spells later.

France stays dry and mostly sunny. A mix of cloud and sun for the Low Countries and Germany, a few spots of light rain in eastern Germany. Some rain in Poland too, a few patches eastward into Belarus and southward into Czechia. Some patchy rain continues in the hills of Romania and Bulgaria. The rest of central Europe and the Alps stays dry with sunny spells.

Fine and often sunny in southern parts of Norway, Sweden, and Finland. Cloudier and windier to the north with some showers, persistent in northwest Norway. Fine and sunny for Denmark and the Baltic States too, just some light morning rain in Lithuania.
