Cloudy with some patchy rain central-eastern Europe
Monday Clusters of showers in Spain, some of them heavy, particularly in eastern areas, more extensive later in the day. Portugal should be mostly dry with sunny spells. Heavy, thundery showers in the Balearics too. Scattered showers for Corsica and Sardinia, mostly afternoon. Italy should be dry with sunshine although isolated showers in Sicily. Greece will have some showers in the south but will be mostly dry, whilst Turkey is also dry with sunshine. Breezy in France with broken cloud and some sunny spells although a chance of a showers in the far south. Cloudy for the Low Countries and northern Germany, a few spots of drizzle. Some showers in eastern Poland but dry in the west. Hungary and Austria as well as Switzerland will be dry with sunny spells. Mostly dry with varied cloud in Denmark. Frequent showers for the Baltic States, some wintry and breezy here as well. Wintry showers for Finland, most in the east. Sweden will see some rain in central areas, drier for southern Norway and Sweden. Rain along north-facing coasts in Norway.
Tuesday Showery weather continues to affect eastern Spain, the Balerics, Corsica and Sardinia, some thundery bursts. A few showers for northern Spain, but drier toward central, south and southwest Spain and Portugal. Scattered showers forming for Italy and into the southern Alps. An odd shower for the south of Greece, but the eastern Mediterranean will be largely dry with sunshine. Easterly breezes for France and the Low Countries, largely dry with some cloud, sun best in the west. Light showers into the Netherlands and northern Germany. Light rain for Poland. Largely dry for southern Germany and Czechia, Slovakia and Hungary. Some showers into Austria, but mostly dry in Switzerland. Isolated showers for Romania. Cool and showery for the Baltic region, but drier for Finland. Sweden and southern Norway likely dry. Westerly breezes bring some rain to northwest Norway.
