Low pressure in north-central Europe facilitates showers across many areas with bands of thunderstorms.

Saturday
A dry day for Portugal with some cloud around, sunnier for Spain. Afternoon heavy showers for northern Spain, thunderstorms in the northwest. Some showers are possible later in the day over the Balearics, perhaps the odd heavy one. Afternoon showers mostly over high ground for Sardinia and Corsica. Northern Italy near the mountains will see a showery day while southern parts will have fine weather conditions. Similarly fine for the Balkan states, some showery bursts from Slovenia towards Bosnia and Herzegovina. A sunny day for Greece, Türkiye and Cyprus.
A sunny and hot day for France with a few heavy showers south. Sunny hot as well for the British Isles and the Low Countries. Showers in northeast Germany into Poland and Denmark, always with risk of developing into stronger thunderstorms. A bright day with some afternoon showers over Switzerland and Austria. More frequent showers for Czechia, and Slovakia (and milder here), while a few are expected over north and west Hungary. Heavy showers developing in west Ukraine and Romania, drier with sun southward into Bulgaria.
A dry and sunny day for Norway, feeling very warm or hot in the south. Heavy showers for southern areas of Sweden Finland, notably risk of growing into thunderstorms in Finland. Sunny and very warm further north in both countries. The Baltic States will see a fine day of sun spells with a few showers over Estonia, with again a risk of thunderstorms developing.

Sunday
Fine across Iberia with afternoon showers in the mountainous north. Heavy showers pass east across Sardinia and Corsica in the morning, into Italy where they may grow into thunderstorms in central areas; north of Italy also seeing heavy showers. Dry and fine for the Balkan States southward into Greece and Türkiye.
Scattered showers develop in central France and push northward, similarly showery in the Low Countries, always with sun spells between showers. Widespread showers across north Germany with local thunderstorms, these into Poland as well. Afternoon showers widespread across the Alpine countries. Less showers with good sun spells in Czechia and Hungary, eastward to the Black Sea. Ukraine and Belarus substantially dry and sunny, only some showers westernmost areas.
Sun and showers for Denmark and south Sweden. Showery from central Norway eastward across central Sweden into southern Finland, again with risk of thunderstorms forming. Staying sunny and warm further north. Some showers in Lithuania and Estonia; Latvia dry and sunny.
